Advisory Boards

The Complexity Sciences Center was established in Fall 2007 by UCD’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. The CSC Director reports to the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Dean for Mathematics & Physical Sciences in the College of Arts & Letters. The Director coordinates complex-systems related activities between faculty members, affiliated departments, and the Innovation Network.  A Science Steering Committee, composed of a group of interdisciplinary and committed UCD faculty, advises the Director on short-term and long-term scientific concerns. An External Advisory Board, with off-campus members from academia and industry, monitors CSC’s performance, advises it on new directions, and maintains strong ties to the Innovation Network.
